In attending art school, I was lucky enough to be thriving in an environment that hosted a ton of interested, creative people. While going about my work, I've always been interested in how others work.. because most likely than not, it was completely opposite than how I went about things.
"It's magic, but its not magic." - quote from Charles Limb. I couldn't agree with this guy more. When you hit that high note as an artist, you're on autopilot. That moment you lose your surrounding and let your hand take charge of your thoughts and actions. It's spontaneous indeed.
So I ask myself this. How can you trigger those moments more often? Can you study this creativity?
"Everybody has the ability to be creative"
This blog is about to be an ongoing process… an experiment to find out where creativity comes from.
Going back to the research of Charles Limb, i'd like to take on his ideas and head towards an understanding of "turning off" any impulses that restrict that moment of creativity.
So how does one go about this? Im thinking the obvious. Practice. Make Mistakes. Allow myselfself to be vulnerable to your my thoughts.
And Its all going to happen here.
